Things To Do

Tara has lived in Maine her whole life and is full of recommendations and very happy to share!

Fantastic Thai food and if they're making Thai ice cream rolls then you need one pronto.

Atlantic Baking Co.

351 Main Street, Rockland, ME 04841
, (207) 596-0505

One of Tara's favorite bakeries, also very close to Ruckus Donuts and the Rockland Breakwater. Highly recommend the bacon cheddar scallion scone.

Bagel Mainea

Everything is good, but the Paris brest made here is divine.

Belfast Harbor Walk

Belfast Harbor Walk, Belfast, ME 04915

Belleville

1 North Street, Portland, ME 04101

Excellent Mexican food.

Camden Hills State Park

280 Belfast Road, Camden, ME 04843
, (207) 236-3109

This is one of my favorite places to hike nearby. Almost every small mountain has a view of the sea. In the summer there's a road on Mount Battie you can drive up, but in the winter it's walking only. Park rangers year round with a fee for entrance at the Mount Battie entrance.

The Camden Snow Bowl

20 Barnestown Road, Camden, ME 04843

Lake St.George Brewing Company

4 Marshall Shore Road, Liberty, ME 04949
, (207) 589-3031

The most local brewery with a great taproom and in the summer an amazing patio. Friday night is trivia night and it packs out with a super competitive vibe and usually a food truck.

38 Main Street, Camden, ME 04843
