When should I RSVP by?

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

2:30 pm - 2:45 pm. Late arrivals will not be allowed into the ceremony and will have to wait until we open the doors back up for the Second Line Parade

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Only "code" is the color options I have given. The colors you are free to wear are Purple ( any shade ) black, and red ACCENTS. You may be as dressy or as casual as you'd like. This is a Victorian Gothic mixed with elements of mysticism and magic. Be as creative and whimsy as you'd like. Dragons, Fae, vamps and werewolves all welcome.

Are kids welcome?

Kids are welcome! We will have child care options available when the adults go out. There are several young adults and older teens who will be around and can keep an eye on the kiddos. Please. When bringing children to the ceremony, it's VERY important that they are within reach of an adult.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you on the list for the ceremony and rehearsal dinner, your plus one has been counted. But please RSVP your plus one. If you are coming to just the celebrations-- Bring whoever you'd like! There's no limit to the party!!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Most of us are staying at the Embassy Suites in New Orleans. It's on Julia St.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

I strongly encourage using public transportation anytime during your stay in NOLA. There is NO parking available at the Rusty Nail where will be having our rehearsal/reception dinner.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! PLEASE! We would like everyone to be able to eat the food that is provided. Please send us any food allergies or special dietary needs as soon as possible. Thank you
