Sometimes it is hard to believe we have been together for so long. By the time we get married, we will have been together for 7.5 years. Where does the time go? We both went to the same high school, but we actually met at the community college we were attending for our senior year. Our high school was so large that our paths never crossed until a mutual friend introduced us on Halloween in 2018. Since then, we have been through many seasons of life together. The end of high school, long distance for a year, a pandemic, college, long distance for 2 more years, and now living together while we figure out our adult lives. David proposed in the fall of 2024 at Snoqualmie Falls. He made me (Tara) hike all over the place until he found a secluded spot in front of the falls to pop the question. We now live together with our two cats, Kit Kat and Baby Ruth. We recently adopted our puppy, Maple. We will always be grateful that we both decided to take community college classes in high school and that we had the same taste in friends. Who knew that the Halloween of 2018 would be the start of the rest of our lives. We can’t believe it’s almost time to make this thing official!
