We’re leaving this up to our guests! Options include renting a car, using public transport, or hiring a private driver. Uber is not available in Roccastrada. If you do choose to rent a car and are uncomfortable driving manual, make sure you request an automatic upon reservation, as manuals are more common in Italy.
Whichever you desire! Our villa is a bit closer to Florence, however Rome is not much further than coming from Florence. It is more common to have direct flights to Rome as well. If you desire to have a few days in either city before or after the wedding week, this may help with your decision!
Electronics: A couple adapters for electronics/phone charging is a must! You can find some on Amazon that align with Italian wall outlets. For the ladies with heated hair tools- the standard voltage in Italy is 220-240 volts, whereas the US voltage is 110-120. A voltage converter seems to not be efficient with heated hair tools unfortunately, and can lead to potential damage and performance issues. I would recommend searching for a dual voltage tool or a tool within the correct voltage. Clothes: It will be warm, June 2025 in Italy so far has seemed to align with our Florida weather. Pack a swimsuit for our pool at the villa, and of course your wedding attire and daily clothing.

This is up to your phone plan and phone carrier. Advise your phone carrier of your travel plans and they can present international data options.
As long as you advise your bank of your travels, your cards will work without suspicion of fraudulent activity. Airports and major cities will also have currency exchanges for USD to Euros for cash.
