Jennifer or “Jen” is Tara’s Matron of Honor. Jen lives in Hellertown, PA with her husband, Dave, her 8-yr. old son, Grayson and their golden retriever, Leo. Jen worked for Olympus for over 12 years & just recently switched careers to support her husband’s growing remodeling business & manage construction of their first real estate investment property. Jen likes working out, watching her son kick butt in sports & hanging with her hubby & bestie, Dave. Jen has known Tara from the day she was born & nicknamed her, Ruby the day she came home from the hospital. Tara and Jen are 8 years apart- their eyes & laugh are the same and they both love Capricorns and people named Dave and Chris. They are loyal, funny & a little crazy when they’re together – but they’re sisters bonded for life!!

Maureen O'Brien

Maureen is one of Tara's Bridesmaids and runs her own company in DC-a recruiting firm, Capitol Careers. She lives with Jet's best friend, her giant Bernedoodle puppy, Riley :). Maureen and Tara met almost 6 years ago now! They went to JMU together, but didn't become besties until they both moved to Arlington, VA. They bonded over their love of having fun, fireball and being two blondes taking over Clarendon. Tara eventually turned Maureen into a golf lover after all of the lessons she gave her. In return Maureen paid in many Twisted Teas and Bud Light Limes "I am honored and excited to be part of Chris and Tara’s special day <3 !"

Missy King

Missy is a special education teacher and loves to cook, run, hike, and snuggle with her dog, Emmy. She lives in Philadelphia with her husband Chris Missy is Tara’s sister in-law. She met Tara for the first time during Tara’s official visit to JMU - where they instantly bonded. Tara and Missy played three years of collegiate field hockey together manning the JMU defense. This friendship created great memories including Summer semester at JMU, beach trips and dance parties. She’s thankful for all the golf tips from Tara and Curley and is looking forward to many more rounds together. Here’s to many more twisted teas, beach trips, dance parties and a whole lot of laughter. “Congrats to Curley, Tara and Jet - love you guys !”

Lauren Stanton

Tara and Lauren first met when she came on her field hockey recruitment visit to JMU. Tara was quiet, but that’s expected because she didn’t know anyone. She was a Pennsylvania field hockey player so Lauren knew she was good. Lauren is thankful she committed to JMU because that is where are true friendship began. Tara's caring & loving personality truly shined during the FH years. Lauren's nickname for the team was Little & she gave Tara the nickname TT. Whenever they hung out they called each other by those nicknames & til this day they have stuck! Fortunately, Lauren witnessed the engagement of Tara and Chris at JMU! "I love her and I can not wait to stand by her side & celebrate her special day as she marries the love of her life. She is going to make a beautiful bride."

Ashley Orio

The first time Ashely ever met Tara was during her recruiting trip to JMU. Ashely & her sisters were the freshmen that were responsible for her during her trip. She arrived to the dorms after a day with coaches (I think) and she politely asked me if she could lay on my bed, so of course I let her. Moments later, she was sleeping in my bed. That’s when I knew Tara should first come to JMU and play on the field hockey team and second that we were going to be friends! It was evident very early in our friendship that Tara was a strong, smart, and beautiful woman. Throughout our time together at JMU Tara & I became closer on and off the field and til this day we continue to be great friends! “Love you Tara!”

Regan Shouldis

Regan is one of Tara’s Bridesmaids and has known Tara for over 12 years. Tara and Regan met freshmen year of college as teammates which led to lifelong besties. Their bond has stayed close over the years through many job transitions and cross-country moves. Regan currently resides in San Diego & works in the Commercial Real Estate / Biotech Industry. Tara and Regan share tons of memories filled with a lot of laughs & also a few tears! They bond over country music, workout routines, golf, and The Philadelphia Eagles. The two could always be found drinking too much wine and causing some kind of trouble. Regan could always count on Tara for good advice and tough-love. They push each other to be better versions of themselves, whether it was on the field hockey field and now in our careers.

Courtney Zaluski

Courtney is one of Tara’s bridesmaids. She is a Talent Acquisition Consultant for a government contractor. She is married with two sons, 1 human (Hudson) and 1 furry (Chubbs). We met through mutual best friends in Arlington, Va at a time when we were both out and about as single ladies. We connected instantly over our appreciation for a fur vest in the winter and Lilly Pulitzer in the summer but became life long friends because of our similar personalities (true zodiac cancers) and Courtney’s love for the energy Tara always brings to everything she does and everything she is. We affectionately call each other “pups”, which has been trending in Arlington since 2014. Whenever we’re together, we’re always laughing and it’s an adventure to remember.

Kelly Zeigler

Kelly is originally from Delaware & has lived in Virginia since graduating from college. Kelly works as an HRBP for a local Pharmaceutical company. Tara and Kelly met in 2007 at JMU; the days of bourbon street, block parties and everything purple and gold. Little did they know a year after graduation their paths would cross again in Arlington, VA. They continued to grow closer over the years and have shared their love for Pure Barre & sports, most recently witnessing the CAPS win the Stanley Cup in a crowd of thousands in Downtown DC together! Kelly cannot wait to celebrate Tara & Chris and their new life together. All she asks for is some chilled Fireball and 'Ke$ha - Timber' to be included in the reception playlist! "I love you both and am so excited for this chapter in your lives!"

Alex Curley

Best Man

Alex Curley, brother of the Groom and Best Man, is a consummate professional. He is dedicated fully to making a living from a seated position, and is currently working as a Microsoft Cloud Automation Engineer for Fidelity National Financial. He has aspirations to do less and somehow make more money, possibly with Cryptocurrency. Alex lives in downtown Denver, CO, with his beautiful wife, Lily, whom he married in 2017.

Brian is Chris’s College, Gnarlington, and Arlington roommate over the years. “I CAN READ” but sometimes I speak Hintonese. He enjoys Snowboarding, Volleyball, Ping Pong, and not to mention a round of golf with Chris and Tara with some Rage Light Limes which more often than not ends up with an emergency 9. David grew up in Midlothian, Virginia. The youngest of five siblings; his formative years were spent playing hockey and enjoying all things outside. After meeting Chris and his brother Alex in the early ‘90s, the friendship quickly grew into a successful partnership, distributing refurbished golf balls on the cart paths of Brandermill Country Club. More recently, and after several years living in New Orleans with his wife Tara, David once again resides in Midlothian. His days are spent relishing time with his four-year old daughter, Izzy, and two-year old son, Harry. When not working in the industrial construction market, you find David cutting lines on the tennis court.

Joey Jewell

We call him Slurpee Joe, because he is a champion.  You can find him pretty easily in a crowd or the trees hard-right off the tee box - just look for neon green.  Skills include numbers and negotiating Chris and Tara down on how many strokes they get a round.   Holds record with Chris for longest late-night ping-pong rally.

Alex is 34 years old, originally from Richmond, VA. He now live in Arlington, VA, and works in video production. Alex met Chris in high school and they continued their party antics throughout their tenure at Lynchburg College. Chris is also the creator of Alex's nickname (1090), which has become a legacy over the years, and will remain as such for the rest of his life.

Chris is Tara’s older brother and one of Curley’s groomsmen. He sells enterprise supply chain software and resides in Philly with his wife Missy and their pup, Emmy. Beach dinners, cocktails and golf at Fred’s Laguna Oaks with Tara and Chris are some of his favorite times. He’s enjoyed a front row view watching Tara grow into a smart, funny, successful person - who is truly one of kind. Chris and Curley bonded quickly over beers, dice and golf. He already considers Curley one of his brothers and is pumped to celebrate T+C’s big day!

Tyler King

Tyler is Tara's brother and one of Curley's Groomsman. Tyler is in 10th grade at Southern Lehigh High School in Center Valley, PA. He loves soccer, basketball, golf & anything Vineyard Vines. Most recently, Tyler has surpassed Tara in height and has taught Curley tips and tricks for becoming a better player at Tara's favorite game, Fortnite. Tyler enjoys golfing and hanging at the beach with Tara and Chris. He is looking forward to the special day when Tara and Chris tie the knot & Curley "officially becomes his brother!" -It ain’t easy being greazy!

Trevor King

Trevor is Tara’s youngest brother and one of Curleys groomsman. He is in 4th grade at Southern Lehigh Elementary in Center Valley, PA. Trevor loves all sports and is quick to become DJ, sing karaoke to Justin Bieber or challenge someone to a dance off at any event. Arguably, his best moves are the ones he has replicated from the many hours of playing Fortnite with Curley. Do you dare challenge to out “Floss” him during the reception? Trevor has been inspired to pursue golf after playing many rounds with Tara & Chris. He also learned how to play Lacrosse from Curley at the beach a few years ago. Trevor prefers to be in matching attire with Curley at all times. In the winter, matching sweaters & in the summer matching neon tanks, bandanas & fanny packs. That’s what greazy bros do, right?

Grayson Schmell

Ring Bearer & Opening Act

Grayson or “Geegs” is Tara’s nephew, Ring Bearer & Opening Act. Grayson is 8-years old and attends 3rd grade at Saucon Valley Elementary School in Hellertown, PA. Grayson is an avid athlete – playing football, basketball, wrestling & baseball. Geegs also loves jumping on his trampoline & having friends over. He’s also a Philadelphia sports fan, loves to ski & play golf with his Mom and “Aunt Ta”. “Aunt Ta” as she’s called has been a favorite of Grayson’s since he entered the world. Aunt Ta was there to help decorate his room before he was born & is his biggest sports fan from DC today. Grayson idolizes “Chris Curley”; he taught him how to play lacrosse at the beach, showed him how Fornite is played, & is always up for a random ball being thrown at him or a bike ride – two kids at heart!

Dave Schmell

Dave or “Schmell Dog” as he’s called is Tara’s brother-in-law and Usher. Dave lives in Hellertown, PA & owns a remodeling business, Schmell General Contracting. Dave is married to his high-school sweetheart, Jen & they have an 8-year old son, Grayson & a golden retriever, Leo. Dave loves running, being outdoors; from the beach to the slopes, he loves mountain biking, hiking & is a big Philadelphia sports fan. Schmell Dog and Tara or “T-Dog” have known each other since Tara was 8-years old. In fact, Schmell is like a big brother to Tara They always have fun when they’re together and make each other laugh! Schmell Dog & Curley also hit it off right off the bat; they’re both laid-back, they love hanging on the beach, drinking, music & losing to T-Dog & Jen in highly competitive games.
