Best Man
I really got lucky with having a brother like Micky. I know if I ever needed anything I could call him up… Sure, he wouldn’t answer and would call me back three weeks later, but when we finally connected he would have my back! In all seriousness I hit the jackpot with a great brother, friend, role model, and all around fantastic human being with Micky. I am honored to have him as my best man, and very much look forward to being roasted by him in his speech! Love you brother! 💚

Ryan and I became fast friends way back in high school, where we both sucked at lacrosse, worked at Noodles & Co. together, and stayed up way too late playing excessive amounts of video games (all traits that carried on through college and adulthood). Not even distance could keep us apart, as we would often visit each other in our respective cities. I visited so often that I became an honorary Alpha Kappa Lambda, and to this day still go camping every few months with his fraternity brothers. He is a kindred spirit, my sweet chinchilla, and my baby girl.

Shawn is everything you would want out of a step brother - kind, caring, and he would even let me touch his drum set if I asked him (that’s a reference to the movie “Stepbrothers” if you didn’t catch it, but also Shawn’s a REALLY good drummer). I’m so incredibly thankful he lives so close now and we get to see each other often - because he is an amazing addition to the McKeon family. Thanks for standing with me on my wedding day!

Dr. Kenneth DeFontes III and I are such good friends that we even share our birthdays (March 4)! We started out as fraternity brothers in Kappa Delta Rho at The College of William & Mary and then became even closer friends when I moved up to Baltimore a few years later. Kenny is a fiercely loyal friend, and one of the rare guys who will call you up out of the blue just to catch up and see how you’re doing. I always enjoy spending time with him… whether it’s hanging out at a Ravens tailgate, exploring the Exumas in the Bahamas, or just grabbing a shot of Grand Marnier at the Admiral’s Cup in Fells Point. Thanks for always standing with me, Kenny!

Len, Lenny, Leonard - whatever you want to call him, he is a man of luxury who enjoys the finer things of life. Always has been, and always will be. Even 15 years ago in the fraternity house, his would be room serving stylish “Razzmajazz” rum drinks while everyone else was serving vodka out of plastic bottles. Today, whether it’s enjoying a creamy pint of Guinness together in a pub in Dublin, watching the Christmas boat parade in Old Town Alexandria, or hosting an intimate dinner party in his abode - he is always down to enjoy the finer things in life with his friends. I’m honored to have my good friend Lenny stand by my side on my wedding day.

In this day and age everyone has social media to keep up with friends and family. Not Matt Dickerson - he is a renaissance man. Matt has alway been someone who thrives on personal, rather than digital, interactions. And since we first met my freshman year I knew he was a good person to have in my life. So while his lack of social media presence may be mildly frustrating when trying to invite him to an event, at least I know that if we want to catch up… all I have to do is pick up the phone and he’s there. I’m so glad to have my second big brother by my side!
Maid of Honor
Lil' Sis of the bride, Camille is an OG. She could tell you about my terrible perm in high school, or when I claimed to be allergic to cucumbers because I didn't like them. But hopefully she'll keep all of my secrets safe. The memories and inside jokes are too numerous to count (giiiiiiirll), but I'm grateful for all of them. Thank you for all of the planning you've done to help make so many wedding events a success! xox

B's sister Shannon is a great expansion (board game pun) to the Sister Squad, with her witty humor, caring nature, and strategy game prowess. She's opened my world to new music, new hobbies (disc golf, even more board games, plant care), and new recipes (she's a great cook!). I love that she's always down to try something new; her zest for life is contagious!
Bridesmaid
Another shining star being added to the Sister Squad, B's sister-in-law Cathleen is a bundle of positivity and joy! She'll be your #1 hype girl and always encourage you to stay true to yourself. I adore her tea collection, her handmade mushroom costume, and her down-for-anything attitude! Catch us on the new Bravo series, "McKeon Wives".

Katie, Krick, Krickett- my ride or die Maryland girl. We immediately bonded over our love of the great state when Katie was rushing Sigma Alpha at UD. She knows how to properly pick a blue crab, hon. But I lived on an island in the Chesapeake Bay, so I think that means I have more MD points, right....?? Krick gives the bestest, biggest bear hugs, and is always there to listen to what's going on in life- the good, the bad, the ugly, without judgement. We share in our love language of hand-written cards, many of which I've saved over the years and will always cherish. Go glean them fields, girl.

My college roomie, my bestie, my OG lovah! Find us in our dorm room listening to Brand New or playing with the butterfly I raised in Entomology (Clarissa) or eating leftover queso from Santa Fe. Also a fellow Marylander, we'd galivant around the state together- going to Navy football games, Easter at Little House on the Prairie, and visiting College Park (more Brand New concerts). No matter what life has brought us post-college, Anna's always been there. Should we make button bracelets for all the bridesmaids? :)
Bridesmaid
Patti and I met teaching the 5th grade cherubs at National Cathedral School. She is so sweet and thoughtful and is always there with a supportive word when you need it. No matter what we're doing together - walking through the cherry blossoms, taking a watercolor paint class, crafting at Homies Christmas, or getting our nails done - it's always a blast. AND when I want someone to get a matching ear piercing with me, Patti's game!! BBE 2024!!!

Holly is the best thing Brian has given me. And lucky for me, she was wrong about which team he was on ;) We became fast friends with our Cathedral lawn picnics, double date game nights, bocce matches, and dinners at Screwtop Wine Bar. Holly has a witty sense of humor and will always hit you out of left field with the best one-liners. They simply can't be beat. My future with Holly... more Puerto Rico trips, less 5k trail races.
Bridesmaid
Rachel and I spent a lot of time together in college- rushing Sigma Alpha (go Sigmas!), trapping squirrels in Mammalogy, and spring break-ing at the beach. After college, it was amazing to teach at Upland and have Rach live right down the road at Longwood Gardens. I loved our porch happy hours, Victory burgers, and spur of the moment hangs. One day after a particularly rough day at school, I came out to the parking lot and Rachel had left me the sweetest card on my car windshield. Just one example of how thoughtful she is :)

Megs! It all started in an apartment above Little Caesars.... well, it started before that, but LC is just a good landmark. The scene of the rainboots incident. From amassing tickets at Dave & Busters to riding the kiddie rides at Hershey Park to slip n' sliding at a SA bbq, Megs is always down for a good time! She won't wear pink for you, but she will send you a care package when you're feeling down. xo, T-Ra
