We Are Getting Married!

Throughout my single life, I always asked God, "Lord when will I find someone to share my life with?" And no matter what was going on in my life, or whether I thought I was ready or not, I always got the same response, "Not Yet, my Daughter." So as we normally do, until that time comes we get busy, all the while still earnestly waiting on someone to come and waiting till our next chapter can begin. However, little did Ben and I know that God was working on us both in different ways, to develop us into the people we are today! I never could have seen this plan unfold and it is better than I could have dreamed up myself. Ben and I had moments in life where our lives intertwined but never connected until now. Ben was a music leader at his church and I was an evangelists daughter, our lives crossed momentarily but didn't connect. He was early twenties and I was a teenager, "Not Yet, my Daughter." Ben was attending DCCC as a programming student, and I was attending DCCC as a teacher. Same place, same people, same path, "Not Yet, my Daughter." Ben began his second degree, pursuing his education; whilst I was attending SNHU pursuing mine: "Not Yet my Daughter." It wasn't until 2019 almost over 12 years later that God said, "My children you have waited patiently, prayed continually, and stayed the course, "Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the Lord. (Proverbs 18:22)"" In God's timing Ben and I met and our first date was memorable. So we officially met again in person on April 20th, 2019; coffee was on the menu, we then visited a bookstore, and soon after came back to my house and cooked a Sedar Passover meal and broke bread together with the family. The next day on Resurrection Sunday Ben visited my church, took me home and asked my Father that evening if he could have my Father's blessing to date me. From then on God has blessed our relationship, and our time is no longer ours but we now live even more on God's timing."
