We met while working together in the bakery department of Giant Food Stores in McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania in early September 2014. Aaron was the trainer, and I was the new trainee. With each day of training, we got to learn more and more about each other likes and personalities. The longer time went on, there was a little spark of something more. It soon got around the workplace that Aaron had feelings for me. He was too shy to ask me out on his own, so he decided to tell everyone that he liked me. Sooner or later, word got back to me from a few co-workers and my mom. I was excited but also didn't believe it. As time went on, we flirted more and more and I realized it may be true, so I took matters into my own hands and here we are now preparing for our wedding day.
Following one of our previous trips from Walt Disney World towards the end of 2018, I knew that I wanted to be with Tara for the rest of my life. Soon after that trip I bought the ring and It was a struggle hiding it from Tara for over 4 months. The day had finally came to pop the question. We were back in Magic Kingdom on vacation and we were at an after hours event for annual passholders, so we got to stay later in the parks with less crowds. I was so nervous and worried, not only because this was the biggest moment of my life, but also because of all the rain! The event lasted 2 hours and it rained in Magic Kingdom all but 15 minutes. I had a very small window to work with but it all worked out in the end. After all of the worries and stress: Tara by my side, dropping down to one knee, and asking her to be my happily ever after.. she said YES! ❤️
