It was a dark and stormy... Just kidding, neither of them remember what the weather was like, they met indoors. Tara and Trevor were both waiting for an audition at NYU for a student-run production of the musical 'Company' that was to take place that fall. Tara's audition slot was scheduled for around 7:30pm that evening, and Trevor's was scheduled for about 10:50pm. Why was he there so early you ask? Because he was nervous. He gets chatty when he's nervous. So, Tara and Trevor found themselves chatting, laughing, and having a really fun time getting to know each other a little, until Trevor suddenly looked up to Tara from his cell phone and said, "accept it". Not sure what he meant, Tara glanced down at her phone and saw the notification "Trevor Bunce has sent you a friend request on Facebook". Shortly after giggling and agreeing to be Facebook friends, Tara went in to sing for her audition and went home, still thinking about the very funny guy she'd just met. Later that night Trevor sent Tara a Name Pronunciation Request through their newfound Facebook friendship, and not sure what to make of it, Tara answered honestly- "TA-ruh" (shrug). Even later she thought, "Oh shoot, what if he was trying to start a conversation with you in a silly, funny way and you just gave a really boring answer!?" So Tara went to YouTube and found a video on The Hill of Tara where someone with an Irish accent says the name Tara within the first two minutes. Trevor watched the whole documentary. Through messaging back and forth, they agreed to get together to go over their lines for the callbacks they now had for this show. While they were in a practice room going over their materials, Trevor noodled around on the piano and played a short piece he had written, and sang. That was the first time Tara got to hear Trevor's truly singular voice, and she was smitten. That same afternoon, he timidly asked her on a date for the following weekend, and the rest is history.
