It’s happening! We are getting married!

Brantly and I (Taquilla) both were born and raised in Charlotte, NC. We went to the same elementary school and even ended up in the same class. We had the same circle of friends but went to different middle and high schools. Ironically we both ended up going to college in Greensboro, NC. Brantly went to NC A&T and I attended UNC-Greensboro. We actually reconnected in 2017 while Brantly was still living in Greensboro and got engaged a few years after reconnecting. After our engagement, Brantly relocated back to Charlotte. We are blending families as Brantly has one child (Madison 10 years old) and an adopted son from his previous marriage that he has raised since his birth (Kyle 16 years old). I have two children from a previous marriage (Jada 13 years old and AJ 12 years old). By God’s grace we are coming together as one. We have been in each other’s shadows but we feel that we did not cross paths until it was time for us to become one. This is our new beginning, our second chance at a new life together.
