As much as we’d love to celebrate with everyone, we’re keeping our wedding small and can only invite guests listed on the invitation. Thank you for understanding — we’re so excited to have you there!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we’ve chosen to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope this gives everyone the chance to relax and enjoy the evening with us.

Is there transportation to and from the lodge and airport?

Answer

At this stage, guests are kindly asked to arrange their own transport. We’ve listed recommended car hire and shuttle transfer options on the “Travel” page to make this as easy as possible. If there is enough interest in a group shuttle, we’ll happily try to coordinate this for those who are interested.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress Code: Cocktail / Semi-Formal Think relaxed elegance — flowy dresses, linen/button up shirts, and suits without ties are welcome. Please keep comfort in mind for an outdoor garden ceremony where-after we will move indoors for the reception.

Is there a wedding registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all. If you would like to give a gift, we’ve created a small registry with a honeymoon / future life fund and a few carefully chosen items we would love. Refer to the "Registry" page for more details.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

June in Chintsa East is usually mild and pleasant (compared to the colder Joburg!), but we recommend bringing a light jacket or wrap for the evening.

What accommodation is there?

Answer

For those travelling to the area, we strongly recommend staying at Crawfords Beach Lodge, where our wedding will be taking place. The special rate includes all meals for the weekend. Please note that the lodge accommodation is not reserved exclusively for our wedding, so we recommend booking as soon as possible. Please refer to the “Travel” page for more details.
