Question

Will children be allowed?

Answer

As much as we enjoy children, and understand that it isn't always easy to find a sitter, we would prefer that you find one for the ceremony, We hope to have a quiet, peaceful, calm ceremony, with minimal distractions. However, if you are unable to do so, please let me know so that I can make accomodations. We ask that children do not run about the ceremony area and you are encouraged to take them inside our home if he/she begins to get fussy. I'll likely be in "Bridezilla-mode", and may be a little irritated if a baby is crying in the audience or if a child is running around. Just being honest... Don't take it personal. #bridezilla However, for the dinner & reception, children will have to wear a wrist band after 10pm, at the sports bar. We're responsible for paying per person, for the dinner, and since we know how kids eat, or rather, how they don't eat, we are assuming that any younger children will be sharing a plate with a parent. If you need any accomodations, please let me know.

Question

Can I bring a "plus 1"?

Answer

Unless already invited, we would appreciate if you honor us by trying to keep the number of guests as low as possible, for obvious reasons. We want the world to see and be with us while we get married, but we are working with limited space and resources 😉

Question

Will you be opening your home to out-of-town guests?

Answer

We love our family, and miss them dearly, but we have decided that because we will already have our 5 children and their partners staying with us, as well as for peace and sanity reasons. (particularly on the days close to the wedding) we are unable house additional guests. However, I am more than willing to help you find lodging and travel accomodations elsewhere. I do have inexpensive options and suggestions on the website and will update it as often as possible. Please let us know if you are having difficulties finding accomodations. We will do what we need to do to accommodate our guests, so if you are having difficulties finding a place to stay or having difficulties affording a place, please let us know.

Question

Will you have safety measures and precautions in place to accommodate those uneasy about COVID-19?

Answer

Yes. We will. If you don't know me too well already, you should know that I am a clean-freak and I sanitize EVERYTHING in my house. I can reassure you that we will do our best to allow guests to be seated within safe distances from one another, we will have a sanitization station, masks, and any other necessary precautions in place for the wedding, and reception. If you have any requests or questions, please let me know. I want my guests/friends/family to feel safe and will do anything to ensure that I can make everyone feel comfortable.
