We wanted to learn more and see the major sights of Atlanta. We try to find a Hop-On Hop-Off Bus in most major cities on our first visit. Unfortunately both Atlanta and Charleston we visited one week ago don’t offer that service. We prefer that type of tour because we usually do a complete circuit on our first round identifying places we want to see more of on the 2nd round.
With the above comments in mind we both enjoyed the Peachtree Trolley Tour. It lasts 90 minutes with one stop but only for 10 minutes at the Tomb of MLK.
Our guide was C. He was informative and he added his own brand of humour. The driver was Lester. The party size was 29 people and despite C microphone not working for the first 15 minutes of the tour everyone was able to hear his observations.
As above it would be nice to be able to do this tour at our own pace being able to spend longer at some sights but given this was not possible then Peachtree Trolleys provided a good backup.
