For all things wine, it is a museum and they also offer tastings
Saint-Émilion
This is the most famous wine region around Bordeaux, there are many wineries around here, feel free to rent a car and explore the region! Or you can book a wine tour on GetYourGuide!
Arcachón
Beautiful beach town, with cute streets and market as well as a beautiful garden, you can also see traditional Arcachon architecture and of course have fabulous food! You can take a train from Bordeaux, it is only 45 minutes!
Dune du Pilat
An hour and a half from Bordeaux, you can find the biggest sand dune in Europe, if you want to visit you can either rent a car from Bordeaux or you can take the train to Arcachon and then rent a car there or if you feel up for the challenge you can rent bikes and visit the dune (electric bikes are available and it makes it much easier! Jojo made me take "real bikes")
