Question

What time should we arrive?

Answer

Please arrive between 3:15-3:30 pm. We will have beverages for you while you are waiting and getting seated. The venue is very strict about the start time so late comers will not be able to be seated at the ceremony.

Can we bring our children?

Answer

We both know all of your children and we absolutely LOVE them! It feels so unnatural to ask that you not bring your children. However, this an adult night out to enjoy the good food, music and celebration with us! (Those with babies are the exception. We know you will have them with you). We'll get to hang out with your kids all the other times that we see them and we're sure you could use a night out!

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Saureel Vineyards - 1140 Cold Springs Road in Placerville. We went to a fundraising event for the Caldor Fire a few months before Jason proposed. The venue was stunning and we both fell in love with it. When we went back to tour it after our engagement, we knew it was *the* place. Please note: both the ceremony and reception will be outside (if it rains, we will have cover), so it may be chilly in the evening since it's in October.

Parking

Answer

There is ample parking that is just a short walk away from the site. There will also be a shuttle available for those that need a ride or a drive up and drop off right at the site.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

If you're anything like me, you want to have some what of an idea about what to wear so it's more of a suggestion. The men in the wedding will be wearing suits. The women will be wearing long, dressier dresses. I would say the attire for guests is somewhere in between a nice dinner out and a cocktail party. Pick which side of the spectrum you want to be on, be comfortable and again, plan on a chilly evening. As far as shoes, whatever ones you will dance in!
