Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please be in the lobby of the aquarium no later than 5:15 pm. This will provide ample time for transportation and parking. There is a hockey game this night so we want to avoid delays from traffic.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes. Our wedding is black tie optional. You can read more about it here. Men are not required to wear a tuxedo, but it is a plus if they do. A dark suit that you would wear to a formal interview is an excellent option. Women can wear between a full length dress and cocktail dress.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is paid parking next to the aquarium and across the street from the aquarium in the parking garage.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes. We are registered at Williams Sonoma, West Elm, and Pottery Barn. You can easily access the link by selecting "Registry" above.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes. We recommend any of the hotels in the Channelside area; particularly the Water Street Marriott.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

If you are staying in Channelside, the trolley is free and has a stop in front of the aquarium. Otherwise, Uber/Lyft is your best option.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes. The three-time Stanley Cup champion Tampa Bay Lightning are hosting the Dallas Stars at Amalie Arena with a start time of 7 pm.
