Schedule

We're still confirming the schedule for this wedding. The main event will be on 26th and 27th of March

Thursday, March 26, 2026

Haldi

10:00 am

India

Wear something bright and cheerful that you don’t mind getting a little turmeric on. Yellow, orange, and other sunny colors are traditional, and light Indian outfits or casual festive wear work best. Covered knees required.

The Haldi ceremony is a joyful pre-wedding ritual where family and friends apply turmeric paste to the bride and groom. Turmeric is believed to bless the couple with prosperity, protection, and a natural glow before the wedding. Followed by a lunch.

Mehendi

2:30 pm

This is a colorful, fun afternoon - perfect for festive Indian attire like kurtas, sarees, or lehengas. Flowing dresses or semi-formal outfits in vibrant colors are also great choices. Think lively, playful, and comfortable. Covered knees required.

The Mehendi celebration is for our guests to enjoy! You’ll have the chance to get beautiful henna designs applied while enjoying music, laughter, and a festive atmosphere.

Wedding Dinner

7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Taj Vivanta Kolkata EM Bypass

This is the most formal event of the celebrations. Guests are encouraged to dress in elegant Indian attire such as sarees, lehengas, or sherwanis. Western formal wear, like suits and gowns, is also perfectly suitable. Covered knees required.

On the final evening, we will gather for the main wedding ceremony. The celebration will feature a traditional Hindu marriage ritual, filled with blessings, sacred chants, and symbolic customs that unite the couple. During the ceremony, there will be a dinner buffet for all guests.
