There are ATMs on the entire island. Maximum withdrawal at one time is Php10,000.00 to Php20,000.00 per day. Foreign money (US dollars, Euros, Korean Won, Japanese Yen, etc.) can be exchanged at several locations around the island. It's worth checking around for the best exchange rate, as all places don't offer the same rate. Much better if you do the exchange in Manila airport before heading to the island. Major credit cards are widely accepted at resorts and restaurants. Safety deposit boxes for valuables are available in most resorts.
