How We Met

4. 8. 2016

Our first interaction was on Twitter after he got my attention with a selfie he posted. I had been complimenting his profile pictures for about 6 months straight and we usually flirted but nothing serious. At the time, I was in Orlando, FL participating in the Disney College Program and the last thing I wanted was to date someone from back home in Columbus. But after offering him my number, we discovered that this had been his plan all along. When I came home to visit, we shared a special weekend and never left each other alone afterwards. 5 years later, we are raising our two boys together. Now we just want to celebrate our union with those who love us. It started as a simple social interaction on twitter, I never thought we'd be walking down the aisle together. Before she even knew who I was forreal, we bumped into each other several times at parties. She barely knew my name, but always spoke. She noticed my profile one day and decided to give me a compliment after the many I gave her. That was all it took - we messaged each other for a few days then exchanged numbers. She was coming back to Columbus from Orlando to visit soon. There was no better time for our first date. We spent the weekend together and that weekend turned to forever.

The Proposal

7. 2. 2020

For my 30th birthday he took me to Orlando with my childhood friends. On our second night, after everyone got dressed up for my birthday dinner, they all went around the room telling me how much they love me and how much I've grown. When it was his turn, he got on one knee and proposed with the ring his father gave his mother! It was such a magical moment - in front of my supportive friends. I will never forget it.
