Our wedding day

Tanner and Whitney met during their sophomore year of high school when Tanner moved to Hill City from Wyoming. Their paths first crossed in woodworking class. Whitney admired Tanner’s kindness, woodworking skills, and smile. Tanner admired Whitney’s heart and genuineness, although he thought she took school a little too seriously. For their first date, Tanner picked Whitney up at her front door wearing his cowboy boots and shook Jeff and Holli’s hands before they left. They continued dating long-distance while Whitney attended college in North Dakota and Tanner worked as a wildland firefighter for the US Forest Service. Throughout the years, they have continued supporting and prioritizing one another, building the foundation of their relationship on Christ. On December 27, 2025, Tanner got down on one knee and proposed at Pactola Lake. Whitney cried tears of joy- and the rest is history! We pray our wedding day is full of joy and the presence of Jesus as we spend the rest of our lives serving God and one another.
