We're so excited to share a few of our favorite places in the area with you.

This is one of the most photographed lighthouses in the world! It's kind of a cliche, but it's a must see.

The Holy Donut makes the best and most delicious donuts around. They are even made out of potatoes!

One of the most bustling places in Portland during the summer, the Old Port has shops galore and some sweet treats. We love walking on the cobblestone and taking in the sights.

The Eastern Promenade has a great grassy hill area that will give you stunning views of Casco Bay and Fort Gorges (where we got engaged!). It's a great place to eat a picnic or hang out with some friends.

Scratch bagels and Willard Beach are the best combo one could ask for. This baking company is only a very short distance from Willard Beach and the bagels are made fresh every morning. Careful though, they tend to sell out in the summers!

Willard Beach is one of our favorite go-to beaches. Whether its brining dinner to the beach after work or sunbathing on the weekend, it's a can't miss. There is also a small parking lot very close to the beach - bonus!

Take the ferry from Portland to Peaks Island! Once on Peaks you can rent bicycles, explore an old fort, visit some beaches, and grab some great food.
