Travel Note
The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception is located downtown. There is free parking available in the parking garage east of Broadway on 12th Street, adjacent to the Folly Theater. You will need a barcode to exit the garage which is available on the Cathedral Website: https://kcgolddome.org/. Attendees can pull out a parking ticket to get into the garage when the gates are down. Then you need to use the barcode to get out. The machine will display instructions: scan the barcode first, then insert the original ticket. If you display the code on your phone, it should let you out. If you try to print it out in advance, please make sure you are using a high-resolution printer, like a laser jet. If there are parking attendants the day of the wedding just let them know you are here for the wedding at The Cathedral.
Travel Note
Parking for the reception will be available on the street or in the designated lots. There will be staff from the venue that will be directing parking due to it being slightly confusing.
Flight
If you are looking to fly in for the wedding KCI would be the place to go! Travel from the airport to the venue is about 30 minutes, as well as to the hotels we booked. Uber from KCI to Venue/Hotels: An Uber from Kansas City International Airport (KCI) ranges between $30-$50 depending on size of vehicle requested.
