Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attire. While not required, we encourage our guests to embrace the historic venue with hints of a timeless, art-deco style. (Before you panic...) Please know any cocktail or formal dress is great. The art deco/vintage feel is optional and for fun! If you want to lean into it, Art Deco style is clean lines, geometric patterns, and possibly beading/embellishments on rich fabrics.

Do you have a Room Block at the Elms?

Yes, we have secured a hotel room block at The Elms for our wedding guests, and we encourage you to use it! Please let us know if the room block is full and we will get more rooms added so you can book at the discounted rate. Can I stay at The Elms Friday & Saturday under your Room Block?

Answer

Yes! We have reserved rooms for both Friday and Saturday for our guests. You will have the option to select both days when using our Room Block link.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:30PM. Please note, the standard check-in time at The Elms is 4:00PM. If rooms are ready, they will allow for early check in however, early check-in is not a guarantee. The Elms will keep luggage at the desk until the room is ready. The Elms welcomes guests to call the hotel the day of to see if there is an estimated time of room availability.

Kansas City International Airport (MCI) is about 30 minutes away from The Elms.
