Maid of Honor
Kyrsten's sister and closest friend. Karrin is one of the kindest women you will ever meet and is always thinking about how to make everyone's day a good one. She is a great activity planner that knows how to find something to do and make it fun for the whole family.
Best Man
Thomas has been a close friend since pretty quickly after I moved to Monroe. He is someone I share a deep bond of friendship with and can open up to about anything. He is there for me in any hour of need, no matter how great or trivial that need is, and I can always count on him to be supportive. He is also a pretty fun guy to hang out with and get to know, so if you get a chance during the festivities you should definitely say hi.
Groomsman
I met Mitch pretty quickly after moving to Monroe and we have been close friends ever since. He is someone who always puts in the effort to find time for me and deeply cares about where I am in life. Before he moved, I used to get lots of unexpected visits from Mitch, and they always ended up improving my day. Even now that he lives hours away, he still calls and makes time to chat and keep up. Mitch is a rare friend, and I appreciate him deeply.
Groomsman
I met Mikey the same night I met Kyrsten. He was dating and is now engaged to Kyrsten's sister Karrin. Mikey is a great friend and a prayer warrior for all of those he holds dear. He is truly after the Lord's heart and it shows in the way he treats the people around him. Mikey is someone who I am continually growing closer to, and someone I know I can count on.
Groomsman
My brother. Him and I go WAY back. Even though I am a lot older than him, Jalen was always down for some good natured competition when we were growing up. He has a heart of gold and is always a friendly voice, even in hard times. He gives generously, sometimes more than he is capable, out of true love and care for those in his life. Jalen will make you laugh, and is always a fun person to be around.
Officiant
Kyrsten's grandfather. A pastor after God's heart, one heck of a premarital counselor, and a dear friend. He has been working for two generations to tie this knot tight. It is an honor and a privilege to have him speak at our wedding and perform the ceremony.
Father of the Bride
Shane is a very genuine man who is the head of an incredible Christian household. He has accepted Mikey and I into his home, made an effort to be involved with us, and invited us into his family. He is someone I am happy to see every week and to build a relationship with. He is also responsible for the wedding arbor, as well as the canvas picture display that will invite guests into our ceremony.
Mother of the Bride
Tina is a very caring woman and has made me feel at home in her house since day one. She has educated and raised two incredible young women and continues to be a source of wisdom in their lives. If you have a chance, compliment her on any aspect of the wedding. She is responsible for just about all of it.
Stepfather of the Groom
Thank you for being the terrific family man you are and for taking good care of my mom. You have made a huge difference in our family's life since joining it.
Mother of the Groom
My mom. Thank you for being supportive all of these years and for all of the effort you put into planning gatherings and keeping our family together. A special thank you as well for being the day of coordinator for the event.
Flower Girl
I have never met Alana, but I have heard great things, and I know that she will be the very best flower girl.
MC
My uncle. He lived with us for a while when we were growing up and we have lots of fond memories together. It is a fun time every time we see each other. If Kyrsten can kick from beneath her dress, we might need to get a hacky sack circle going.
Bride
My absolute favorite person in the whole world and the best Kyrsten to have ever been born. Of all the people who lived throughout the centuries that God could bless by bestowing the most fun, beautiful woman who has ever lived upon, I am glad it is me.
Groom
I just helped with odds and ends as far as the wedding goes, but I will happily receive compliments and praise when the day comes. It is part of my job after all, and I take my responsibilities very seriously.
