Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We are kindly ask our guests to RSVP by January 8, 2025 in order to have all the deadlines met for vendors and venue.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4 pm, so we kindly ask our guests to arrive by 3:30 pm in order to mingle and find a seat before the ceremony starts. If you are late, please wait in the cocktail hour section in order to not disturb the ceremony.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love if all of our friends and family dressed nicely for the wedding. We are asking if everyone could please wear cocktail attire for the wedding. Girls, please wear long or mid-length dresses, or nice skirts/pants. No white or ivory. Boys, please wear button up shirts and dress pants. No jeans please. Due to the time of year and chance of rain, we recommend everyone brings or wears a jacket.

Question

Are the ceremony and the reception taking place at the same location?

Answer

Yes! Both ceremony and reception will be held at River Garden in Vista, CA. We are so excited to share our special day with you in this beautiful garden venue.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! The venue has lots of free parking for our guests.

Question

Is the venue indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The entire venue is held outdoors. There is some shade for both the ceremony section and the reception section. Due to the time of year, we do recommend bringing a jacket (and maybe an umbrella).

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! Drinks are on us. Please drink responsibly and carpool/Uber if needed! Please bring a valid ID.

Question

Can I take photos/videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We would love for all of our family and friends to be fully present in the moment with us, so we are asking for limited use of phones/cameras during the ceremony! Not a fully “unplugged” ceremony, but please be limited in your use of phones as to not block the view or distract other guests. We will have an amazing photographer capturing the moment for us. Feel free to take as many photos/videos you want during the cocktail hour and reception!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have tried our best to fully accommodate our guests, but unfortunately space is limited. If a plus one has been allotted for you, it will reflect on your invitation. We look forward to spending the evening celebrating with our closest family and friends!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Since we already live together and have most of the household items we need, we are asking for honeymoon funds if people feel inclined to provide a gift. We have registered for a few items as well in case some people prefer to bring a physical gift.
