Our proposal story starts the morning of October 27. Tanner had been planning on proposing to me for months and had come up with the perfect plan. My birthday was October 19th and he decided to throw me a surprise birthday party, but little did I know what was going to happen. We got up that morning and decided we were gonna have a family day, awesome for Tanner because everyone that was going to help set up for the “surprise party” could get all the decorations set up. We had our family day and we pull into the driveway and our family and friends were there. I had no idea what was going on. Little side note, I hate surprises. They had birthday decorations set up and a birthday cake. Our friends who are also amazing photographers were there and they asked if we wanted to take pictures and of course I was like yes! We took pictures with everyone and then we took pictures of Tanner, Kyson, and me. Then our friends, Lauren and Johnathan, they told us to stand back to back and on the count of three turn around and make a funny face. On the count of three I turned around and Tanner was on one knee asking me to marry him and it was the absolute best day of my life <3
