Tanner and Hanna met in their hometown of Omaha, while both attending Metropolitan Community College. Of all places, they first locked eyes in a welding class. Quick glances across the shop turned into roaming the campus together in search of snacks during classes. This continued as the two became fast friends and then a relationship began to bud. Their first date consisted of trap shooting at a local range and dinner at the very romantic... Applebees. A few weeks passed until the pair began dating. Weeks turned into months, then years, and after 2 1/2 years together, Tanner got down on one knee in the scenic Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado. In the almost 5 years since they met, they have traveled, welcomed 2 dogs into their life and moved into their first home together. Their first dog Tig, named after a type of welding, is a unique and spunky mutt that came into their lives very unexpectedly (if you know you know). And the second, a black lab named Lincoln (keeping along with the welding theme of course) was a Christmas present to Hanna, but has since been turned into a hunting dog by Tanner; They are pretty much inseparable. Tanner and Hanna have both been blessed to follow their shared passion for welding. Hanna works for a local plant nursery, fabricating custom decor, yard art and repairing trucks, trailers and equipment. Tanner has found a career in fabricating and building custom trucks and trailers. They both feel very lucky to have found a life partner that understands and experiences what each other does for a living, and they hope to build their own fabrication business together in the future. Now the couple is finally approaching wedding day and they cannot wait to be able to celebrate with all of their closest friends and family!
