8:00 pm - 10:30 pm
Dress Code: Keeping in theme with Lucy's “Retired Surfers” aesthetic, the dress code is “Salty Glam”. Basically Tanner wanted to have an event where he was allowed to rock a Hawaiian Shirt, so we want guests to embrace a tropical, beachy, casual & LA vibe — but still dressing to impress (this means no Sports Polo Shirts for the boys).
The Vibes // Welcome to NOLA! For our guests that are traveling, check in at your hotel and grab a bite to eat before officially kicking off the weekend festivities. Lucy’s is an LSU college career staple and a dive bar where Tanner and I have made some amazing memories. We're hosting a casual cocktail party on the second floor from 8 to 11 PM, so that everyone can meet, mingle and toast the couple before going out that night!
4:30 pm - 6:00 pm
Dress Code: Formal Attire - we suggest dresses and heels for ladies, and suits for men (tie optional). Think spring pastels for a 'European-Inspired Spring Soiree' aesthetic. Bridesmaids are wearing a mix of rose pink, pale blue & butter yellow dresses, & groomsmen are wearing beige linen suits. The ceremony & reception are outside, but March weather in NOLA is the best!
For the Ceremony // Please arrive at 4:30 pm to grab a drink & your seat, our ceremony will begin promptly at 5 pm. After the couple exchanges "I Do's", follow the jazz band to the street, we'll be celebrating New Orleans style with a traditional second line parade - dancing required, umbrellas optional.
6:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Dress Code: Formal Attire (same as Ceremony - see details above).
After the second line parade, join us back at the venue for martinis, charbroiled oysters & golden hour vibes from 6 to 7 pm. Then, the band will kick off our reception promptly at 7 pm, with the festivities wrapping with late night beignets on the dance floor! At 10:30 pm, the couple will do a last dance and sparkler exit.
