We first met by Tanner messaging Emily via Instagram/Snapchat. After couple weeks talking, they decided to go out but Emily bailed on Tanner for the 1st date, but Tanner did not give up. Soon after she decided to go a local place with him at Dooley's in Wilkes on New Years Day. They ended up laughing and extending the night by going to the lake and talking for hours. The next several weeks were facetime calls, then Emily started driving to Chapel Hill every Tuesday after work to see Tanner even if was just for couple hours & Tanner would come home on the weekends to see her. During the weekend visits Tanner and Emily would spend their time golfing at Stone Mountain Golf Course, going to COBO in Boone for sushi nights and falling more and more in love with each other every minute. Anyone could see with the way these two looked at each other they were deeply head over heels for one another. After 2 years together they got pregnant and had the biggest blessing of all, a beautiful baby girl named Florence. Now they’re ready to say the big “I Do” coming in May 2026!
