Yosemite National Park
It’s a GORGEOUS 1 hour drive to Yosemite National Park from Sonora! Definitely worth the trip! Make sure to check their website first, as they might require a reservation!
San Francisco
San Francisco is about a 2 and a half hour drive from Sonora! There are so many things to do and experience such as, biking the Golden Gate Bridge and crossing it off your bucket list or going to bakers beach (nude beach) and bleaching your eyes afterwards! Or seeing some entertainment while walking across the pier! There is also a boat ride you can take to Alcatraz if you’re feeling adventurous!
Old Sacramento Waterfront
This is a fun tourist area with great food, history and shopping outlets! Only a 2 hour drive from Sonora!
Monterey Bay
This is a 3 hour drive from Sonora but such a gorgeous location! I recommend stopping by Bubba Gumps shrimp joint and the Monterey bay aquarium! Absolutely beautiful place!
San Luis Obispo
This is a 4 hour drive from Sonora but one of my favorite places on earth! The weather Is always warm and the beach is never too crowded. This is the perfect location to learn how to surf if you’re feeling adventurous! Don’t forget to stop by the local drive-in movie theater!
