Tanner and I met through mutual friends in college! Tanner went to Lincoln Junior College for two years to play baseball, then transferred to North Central College in Naperville. I went to Benedictine University to play basketball, and continued into a fifth year for my Master's Degree. I was working as a strength and conditioning coach at BU during grad school and ended up training the men's baseball team. Turns out, some of these athletes were actually Tanner's friends that he played with at Lincoln! They must've thought Tanner and I would make a good pair because they were telling him that he had to reach out to me :). We started talking through social media, met up in downtown Naperville one night shortly after, and here we are five years later!
