Just 18-months apart, Haley and Shelby or “Shaley” and “Helby” as often called by their parents, talk on the phone every day at 6 o'clock usually about their golden retrievers, successes (or stresses) of the days, or fashion advice for Haley. As both a sister and best friend, Shelby is sending Haley off on her next big adventure, holding her hand every step of the way.
Nic Rummel

Nic and Tanner (literally) speak a secret language all their own. It starts with a handshake, then no one else can understand the rest. We could tell you a story or two about Tanner and Nic's friendship, but most of them are better kept between these two long-term best friends. What happens in high school, stays in high school...right? Nic has been by Tanner's side since they were rowdy teenagers, and as Best Man he'll continue to stand strong next to him.

Attached at the hip best describes Kelsey and Haley. They met in Kappa Delta sorority and forged a deep friendship that has included stints as roommates, travel buddies, and a long-distance relationship that has spanned states and now, continents! Kelsey is pulling double duty as bridesmaid and wedding officiant, and there's no one better to marry Haley and Tanner. Well, except for her husband and co-officiant Matt.
Matt Cecil
Groomsman / Wedding Officiant
Matt and Tanner came into each other's lives via their significant others, but leveled it up over the years as best friends themselves. Matt was in on Tanner's plot to propose to Haley and carried the engagement ring for him all the way to Thailand. Was he nervous? Yes. Did he break a sweat? Never. Matt is doing double duty as groomsman and wedding officiant alongside his wife and co-officiant, Kelsey.
Delaney Messner
Bridesmaid
There is a special bond between cousins, and Delaney and Haley have been thick as thieves since the days of the “Pink and Purple Club” when they were kiddos. The blondie blue Messner girls both have a penchant for the Dixie Chicks, Star Wars, and Disney, and a tendency to be a little clumsy. Habitually spilling whatever they eat all over their clothes.
Matt Janke

Only child Tanner is scoring his very first brother when Matt marries Haley's sister in 2021. Matt and Tanner have learned the ropes of the Messner household together and formed a deep bond over their love of pizza and whiskey. Ok, sometimes a few glasses of whiskey when the female-dominated Messner household is out in full swing!
Samantha Onnen

Sam and Haley met in the second grade and the rest is history. Sam has been there every step of the way from elementary school through college. The two have shared years of friendship together, many of which was spent talking about their shared love of Harry Potter and an array of other random things that they can sit and chat about for hours.
Daniel Goodman
Groomsman
Tanner and Daniel's friendship went from 0 to 60 in high school auto shop class when they connected over their shared loves of cars and motor vehicles. Today, they still have a need for speed and car talk keeps the gears of friendship revving through the years. If anyone can put up with Tanner's driving, or keep up with him in a race, it's Daniel.
Candace Lee

Haley knew she was going to love Tanner when she found out he shared a birthday with one of her closest college friends and Kappa Delta sorority sister, Candace. Though, she loved Candace first. Candace is the epitome of a great friend and her presence has been a blessing to both Tanner and Haley through the years. Plus, her dog Winston is best friends with the bride and groom's pup, Arlo.
John Moran
Groomsman
John or as his friends call him, "Moran" has been a consistent in Haley and Tanner's relationship since the beginning. Tanner and Haley will argue about who was friends with Moran first. The answer is Haley, but the brotherhood Tanner and Moran share from their Phi Kappa Psi fraternity days runs strong. Moran is a first-class friend who is pretty hilarious and has amazing comedic timing. Though don't tell him we admitted that unless you want to hear a dad joke.
Cathy Bertolino

If you’ve ever heard Haley called by the name “Pales,” you’ve been impacted by Cathy. The Cathy original nickname “Paley Haley” (Pales for short) came to be in high school, and thanks to Cathy, followed Haley through college and beyond. The two became fast friends after being assigned as partners producing their high school news show. So much so that they shared a room together for almost all of college, and have a tendency to wear matching outfits and pretend to be twins.
Richard Park
Groomsman
Richard was there on the fateful day when Tanner met Haley. He watched sparks fly, and has been a fierce force of love to them in the years that followed. Richard and Tanner are fraternity brothers who have seen it all, done it all, and probably aren't going to tell you any of it. That's college, right? Richard provides endless love and support to Tanner and Haley, and they are grateful to have him as a constant in their lives.
