Love is patient

In January 2020, Kendric invited Tanishia to a Roaring 20's themed DC Lottery event on a platonic friend outing. He needed a good luck charm. Dressed in their best 1920s fashion, they ate and drank the night away. The ambiance was filled with live instruments whirring and people moseying about. With a beauty on his arm, Kendric made every attempt to leave with the cash. He wanted to win BIG. The night began to whine down and Kendric began to realize he had the prize standing next to him the whole time. It was just a matter of making her his. "Let's go over to the bar" Kendric said. Tanishia obliged. "Order whatever you want" said Kendric. Tanishia leaned in "Can I have a glass of Riesling please?". Kendric looked at Tanishia, grasped her leg, leaned in and whispered .........to be cont'd :)

As much as these intimate details, are kept private, what we will share is on what seemed to be a random Wednesday afternoon, as we packed up our old house in preparation to move Kendric (Chad) started an unorthodox conversation, in comparison to the current situation, professing his love and asking me (Tanishia) if she would be his forever.
