A cold night of competitive spirits; One of the biggest nights of high school - "The Jamboree". (Tanisha): "As I rest my freshly tattooed leg on the bleacher seat in front of me, he walks over and approaches me". (Terell): "Excuse me ma'am. Can I sit here"? (Tanisha): " No. Don't you see my feet sitting here"? (Terell): " I'm gonna sit here anyway". (Tanisha): "And I'm going to put my feet on you". So I placed my legs on top of his shoulder. (Terell): " That's a nice tattoo you have there." (Tanisha): "Thank you! I just got it for my birthday." (Terell): " That's cool, but I'm not going to ignore the fact of how heavy your legs are. Can you move them off of me"? (Tanisha): "Nope, you chose to sit here". Nearing the closure of the game he finally decided to ask for my number. I replied with a "No" but you can give me yours. So Terell gave his number. WEEKS LATER OUR LIVES CHANGED AND THE REST IS STILL BEING WRITTEN.

Have you ever had a feeling that you're too late, time may be running out, and the perfect time may not ever approach? But when combining Trust and Love into one you can never put life on a time frame. There's only that one person that always makes you feel like any time is the perfect time as long as it's with you. Choosing my moment as careful as I could, I chose to share our biggest moment with my soon to be in-laws. Tanisha is originally from California, which is where all of her family is still located. Keeping this to myself was one of the toughest things I have ever done, when the one I love knows my every move. In December we made a trip to her home town for a family reunion; at that second, I felt in my heart it was the perfect time. After starting off my list of First Time memories, I chose to ask Tanisha to be my wife as well as my best friend in the presence of her entire family. To see the smile on her face as the tears fell from her eyes, I knew I had made her one of the happiest women alive and that was priceless.
