It all started one summer day back in 2015 when Tanisha was invited by one of her friends from college to head into NYC for a birthday party. She was living an hour outside of the city at the time, so she almost declined. (Aren’t we all glad she didn’t?!) The party ended up being at The Frying Pan- a large docked Coast Guard lightship turned into restaurant/bar on the Hudson River. Among several new friends Tanisha met that day, Fonx was one of them. Toward the end of the night, Fonx finally worked up the courage to ask for her phone number. They went out later that week on their first date and the rest is history!
