Tanisha and Anka had their first date at Famous Dave's BBQ, in Alexandria, VA! They spent the evening enjoying a messy dinner and great conversation! The night went so well that they decided to get together the very next night for a movie date! And the rest is history...

Tanisha had planned a fancy date night at Eddie V's, in Tyson's Corner, VA. Little did she know, Anka had been planning a secret proposal for that very night. (He even called the restaurant to modify the reservation that she had previously made!) After enjoying wine, steak, and seafood, Anka directed Tanisha's attention towards the back of the restaurant. As she turned, her mother and father were making their way towards the table. This was a huge surprise! Then, when Tanisha turned back towards Anka, he was already down on one knee. Of course, she said, "YES!"
