We're getting married!

They met at a church fellowship in August of 2017. Taneesha was initially a little reluctant to consider a relationship with Joshua, being so close to his family's congregation. Joshua jokes that Taneesha stood him up on the first date, however Taneesha's story is that she rescheduled on short notice. Reservations quickly faded, as the couple got to know one another. Joshua and Taneesha officially started dating in April of 2018. Over the next year, the couple bonded over their faith, and love for family and 90s R&B. The Boaz to her Ruth, Joshua and Tanesha's love story amazingly unfolds with aspects resembling the well known love story in the Old Testament Book of Ruth. Just as Boaz was called a kinsman redeemer for marrying Ruth and restoring her back to her rightful place in the Hebrew family, Joshua officially connects Taneesha to his family. The irony is that his parents had already been her spiritual parents for 8 years prior to the couple becoming acquainted. This beautiful story is a reminder that God is involved in the intricate details of our lives. Joshua and Taneesha look forward to sharing their love, testimony, and devotion with their friends and family on August 24th, 2019.
