Any inquiries after 10pm will be answered either on a pre-arranged or urgent basis. If we have no clue that you're planning to join us, please realize it will be difficult to make those arrangements while we're out enjoying ourselves.
6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Casual warm weather clothing
This event is for the wedding party, immediate family, family elders, and wedding planning people only.
12:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Bring comfortable attire, bathrobe, and wedding attire with you
This is the wedding preparation time for the wedding party, bride, and groom. Please limit the number of people coming in and out of the space at this time. If you are in the wedding and expect makeup, hair, and other salon services, please arrive free of all other distractions. Please do not bring guests with you who are not in the wedding as we need to focus on resolving issues with attire and other event-related challenges that may arise.
5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Ceremony Attire for Warm Weather and Cooler Temps at Night
This is a pre-ceremonial cocktail party with an open bar serving light drinks and appetizers for guests to take a small amount of time to get to know one another and prepare for the ceremony to begin. Please dress for warmth and bring an additional layer to put on as the night goes on, just in case temps cool down to where you'd be uncomfortable without the extra layer.
7:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Summer evening wear and business casual attire with layering option for cooler night temps
If you arrive DURING this time, please quietly take a seat near the back entrance without interrupting the ceremony. Guests who arrive after the wedding processions begin will be asked to remain indoors until the bride finishes her entry. It is very short/brief and centered around our spirituality. This is not a Christian or Western ceremony and includes Ancient African Spiritual Rituals. Nature and African deities will be recognized and honored. This is a wedding of unity and spiritual oneness. If you are uncomfortable with attending a non-Christian ceremony we understand if you choose not to join us. Wedding party photos will be taken right after the ceremony with the night time reception party beginning at 8:30pm.
Sat, Apr 10, 2021, 8:30 pm - Sun, Apr 11, 2021, 12:30 am
Please bring comfortable shoes
The wedding reception is a party including dance music, special recognition moments, cake cutting and a toast. There will be surprises for our guests throughout the night to add to the Forever Hannah experience. Specific details such as the exact dinner menu selection and other things you need to know will be included up to two months before the wedding date. There is an open bar included. We hope you ENJOY!!!
