Question

Does Telluride have Uber/Lyft/etc and can I take one of these transportation options to the wedding events?

Answer

Telluride does not have these services but we have arranged for transportation for all wedding events!

Can I drive to the wedding/park there?

Answer

Due to parking limitations we unfortunately cannot offer wedding guest parking on the wedding day. We will have transportation available for all guests with rolling shuttles that will depart at 8:30 pm and later.

How can I prepare for the altitude?

Answer

If possible, we'd recommend getting into Telluride a couple days before the wedding if possible. If not, drink lots of water, take it easy, and bring a heavy jacket and layers!

Is there anything I should know about hiking in/near Telluride?

Answer

Due to the elevation, summer thunderstorms are definitely a thing to be aware of. Check Accuweather (more accurate than Apple weather) and plan to start your hike early/be done by noon. There absolutely is abundant wildlife to be aware of as well (moose, bears) so please check the Alltrails comments before going on a new adventure, or chat with Tandy & Jeff.

Will there be cell phone service at The Observatory?

Answer

There is a cell phone signal extender / wifi but it may not be super reliable and should be used as needed vs the full duration of the event. We look forward to unplugging with you!
