While they dont call it a first date, their first outing was spontaneous. On July 8, 2017, Tandi met Bruce at what eventually would become their place, Cooper’s Landing. Tandi- I had no clue what I was walking into! I had always wanted to go to Cooper’s Landing and thought it was the perfect opportunity to try it out. Raelyn and I sat down at a picnic table listening to the live band when in walks Bruce.. Jorts, bandana, and a cut off t shirt! He had warned me he had been catfishing all day and well.. while I’d like to say I didnt fall for him immediately dressed in his finest, I just cant. It was the perfect evening that has grown into a dream. I cannot wait to spend my life with him. Jorts and all.

I finally had gotten good at getting back into the gym on a regular basis. A large part of that reason is I knew what days Tandi went to the gym. I didn't even know her name at the time. Some might call it Creepy, I call it love. haha. We would catch each others eye from time to time but no introduction had been made. Now, keep in mind I'm a salesmen by trade, talking to strangers is what I do. But working up the courage to talk to the fine girl (Tandi - in case you're not following) at the gym was hard. Finally after this had been going on for weeks, I told my self today is the day. I didn't know what I was going to say or when, I just kept telling myself you miss 100% of the chances you don't take. As I walked up to her, I still didn't know what to say but figured something would come out of my mouth, and those words were...."I like your core workout, what's your secret?".....I guess it worked because we chatted for awhile and exchanged info. I left the gym on cloud 9. Well about a week later, while I was out on the river fishing, Tandi and I were texting and we got into discussing our plans for the evening. I mentioned we were eating at Coopers Landing and she said she had been wanting to try it. So I invited her down. After which, I remembered I was in Jorts, sleeveless shirt, bandana, and flip flops, probably some mud, and blood too. I guess if she could like me like that then it was meant to be. Well that's exactly what happened, her and Rae showed up and that cute little 4 year old girl and her Mom danced away with my heart to Live music at Coopers landing, and the rest is history.
