We met around 7 years ago in Oshkosh after Billy's sister Kaeley, brought him to town while I was bartending. We were both at different points in our lives and were not interested in dating or getting to know each other then. Butttt a year and a half later we crossed paths again at the Shamrock Shuffle in Milwaukee. After several drinks with friends and a great day and night, I left Milwaukee the next morning without my wallet and keys. Thankfully I got Billy's number that weekend hehehe and knew he was most likely still in Milwaukee to save my wallet and keys. After he found them, he told me the ONLY way to repay him was by getting dinner with him and I guess the rest is history.

We planned a weekend trip up to Door County to celebrate our 4 years. Every year we try to get to Door County at least once in the summer for the wine tastings and good food. But this year was different, Billy brought a little box along with him that I was not aware of. While we were hiking around Cave Point we went out onto the rocks (and Billy had to make sure NO ONE was watching), and while I was looking at the water I heard Billy say my name and when I turned around he was on one knee and asked me to marry him awwwwhhh. Of course, I said yes and it was the most memorable trip to DoCo that we have had yet! Now to celebrate with all of you in just a few short months! See you in Green Bay July 20th, 2024!
