Craig and Tanaya met officially Memorial Day Weekend of 2013 at Aunty Dianne’s house. They hung out the whole weekend with the rest of Tanaya’s cousins. Craig knew Tanaya was feeling him when she made his plate at dinner. Thank you Aunty Dianne!!! P.S she made me lol. As the weekend started to end, everyone around could see the connection between the two. On Monday, when Craig was leaving, Tanaya’s father took them to NYC. They hung out and started to realize that it was a true connection. A few days went by and Tanaya’s cousin called Craig. She asked “do you like my cousin and do you want to be with her?” Craig said yes and numbers were exchanged. On June 3, Craig asked Tanaya to be his girlfriend and they dated four years. While they took some time apart to grow, they always remained in contact with each other, with the lingering thought of rekindling officially. On October 11, 2023, Craig surprised Tanaya on her father’s 50th birthday trip to Jamaica, he asked her to be his girlfriend. Of course she said yes. On June 9, 2024, Craig got down on one knee and asked Tanaya to be his wife. Of course, the answer was yes !
