Jenece and Tanaasha grew up in local church in Inglewood, CA. They adopted one another as cousins, as young as 7 years old. Jenece and Tanaasha were drawn to the game of basketball and manage their relationship with this common interest amongst one of many on the forefront. Jenece has been their for Tanaasha during times when others were unaware. Tanaasha acknowledges her love and appreciation for Jenece and admits she's been told she is the only one who truly understands Jenece.

No secret to the length of time Tia and Tanaasha have known one another. It's literally been a lifetime. Tia is one of three of Tanaasha's siblings. Tanaasha endearingly calls Tia-- Mia. Tanaasha has many wonderful memories of their life together as sisters. Tanaasha admits that any time an opportunity presents itself for them to hang out the moment will definitely be a memorable one.

Tanaasha refers to April as her sister/cousin from another auntie/mother. They've known each other since Tanaasha was 7 years old and April 9 years old. They grew up together in a local church in Inglewood, CA. The reality of their relationship extends beyond their natural families with a bond strong as one with blood. April calls Tanaasha's mother Tirzah- M.O.M (my other mother). Tanaasha says April is the "big sister" she never had and looks to her to sometimes be her "voice of reason". Their most memorable moment was Tanaasha's 25th and 26th birthday party. They had undescribable fun (some things will go to the grave).

While Tanaasha's mother only birthed two of her "biological" sisters, she has a number of bonus children that she holds dear to her heart. Cynthia is one of them. Tanaasha and Cynthia met when Cynthia joined the local church they attended and immediately Cynthia became family. Another big sister to Tanaasha from another mother. Tanaasha recalls her memory of Cynthia as an awesome Praise Dancer and now a relentless track star. Tanaasha and Cynthia's relationship hails from before Cynthia became a mother. Tanaasha remembers acting extremely over protective of Cynthia's first born and now she's is proud to see him succeed in college.

Tanaasha's has many exciting memories with her youngest sister, the Baby of the bunch, befittingly called "The Brat". Tanaasha tells of Tiana being known as the "turn-up" queen and a bonified party animal. Tanaasha admires Tiana for her ability to celebrate others and make sure they have a good time even when her health is under attack. One memory that comes to mind... well all Tanaasha would say was- "my birthday at the GS" (what happens at GS- stays at GS)!

Toni Lyons

Tanaahsa's sentiments about her "sister-in-love to be" Antonette (Toni), are that she feels as though she's known forever. Tanaasha is not merely gaining a sister-in-law but another sister and friend. Tanaasha and Toni are alike in many ways. And when Dalmer is "cutting up" Tanaasha and Toni double team and put him in check.

Nakiela (aka Keila) is one of many of Tanaashas cousin's from her father's side of the family. Her paternal grandmother birthed 15 children. Tanaasha says Keila is such a diva and they have a great time whenever they link up.

Sanai is Tanaasha's bubbly niece who is the daughter of her sister Tia. Tanaasha fondly calls Sanai Hazel.

Brooke is Tanaasha's God-daughter.

Tanaasha describes her lovely mother as her backbone and her support since day one. Tanaasha can go to her for anything even though she may not like what is said. Tanaasha often questions her mother how she managed to raise four beautiful children effortlessly as a single parent. All she knows is she did, and did a good job she adds. She showed Tanaasha first hand how to be a superwoman and that there are no limits to what you can do, if you believe. One example of her strength that Tanaasha will never forget, is the story of how she came into this world (details at 11p on channel 7 News).

Zamir Jackson

Tanaasha met Zamir (aka as Mir Mir to "Ms. Ricks") at A Bright Beginning PreSchool. She had the pleasure of being his first teacher and shortly thereafter she became extremely fond of him. She notes that Zamir is a quiet and respectful little man that she has grown to love and care about like family. She not only loves Zamir but his parents too. "Ms. Ricks" is very proud of the great job Zamir's parents have done with raising both he and his older brother.

Andrew is one of Tanaasha's special students that she likens to a son because they spend so much time together. He is such a smart little boy that has a special place in Tanaasha's heart. It is her desire to see Andrew grow up and do well in his future.

TyBrittany Thomas

TyBrittany (Ty) is another one of Tanaash'as sisters from another mother. They've grown together as adults and have a special love for one another. Tanaasha thinks of Ty as a "Millennial Classy Lady" that she has admired since they met and is grateful for their sisterhood. She stepped into Tanaasha's life and became a perfect fit without incident.

Zattia Mitchell

Zattia (Zatti) is a beautiful woman both inside and out. Tanaasha has known Zattia since she was in kindergarten with her baby sister Tiana. She too is a sister from another mother and is truly loved. Tanaasha says that Zatti is a "class act" type of woman, wife, and mother who is also our family "ride or die".

Toinette Brown

Toinette (Toi) is Tanaasha's cousin from her "Dad" (Russell) side of the family that she is elated to have as a cousin. Tanaasha appreciates how both Toi and her mother, Auntie Joyce, embraced her and never made her feel like she wasn't a part of the family although she had a different father. With them, there was no step or half- just family and for that Tanaasha is forever grateful.

Summer Martin

Tanaasha's thinks of her now beautiful adult God Sister, Summer as her baby. She remembers babysitting and loving on her as though she was her own. And right today, you still can't tell Tanaasha anything different. Tanaasha's mother believes Summer was birthed by her mother Stephanie just for her family. Tanaasha's love for Summer transcends family boundaries.

Cayden is the son of Tanaasha's friend of 5 years.

Chelsie is Tanaasha's "niecy pooh", daughter of her sister Tia. Tanaasha remembers being away at college in Fresno when Chelsie was born and when she would see Chelsie as a baby she would say, "hey boo". So when Chelsie was big enough to talk she called Tanaasha "Auntie Hey Boo". And that is name she is called even today.

Anthony is Dalmers brother. Dalmer remembers growing up when he and Anthony shared shoes and clothes. Dalmer and Anthony reflect and say that they are grateful for coming from nothing to something and say they are living better days and look forward to the best life..."can't stop-won't stop until their good is better and the better is best!"

Jassiah is the amazing , smart, handsome, and talented, son of Tanaasha who she endearingly calls "PaPa'. There was a time when it was just the two of them. Their family dynamics have changed and grown but their love remains the same. Tanaasha and Jassiah have a mother-son bond that can not be broken.
