The Island Farm is a private estate nestled in the hills of San Gregorio just south of Half Moon Bay. With ocean views and towering redwoods, the Island is a very special place. This property is fairly secluded, yet only an hour from San Francisco International Airport.
Evening/black tie dress encouraged. Please keep in mind we will be celebrating under the redwoods, boots and block heels are strongly recommended! It can get a little chilly in the forest, pack a shawl or a light fur to wear in the evening hours. If you are looking for inspiration, think dark, lush velvets with gold and silver. Deep lips and moody lids. We are channeling some moonlight mystical vibes, feel free to go all out!
We are bringing in everything we need to have a memorable evening! There will be welcome drinks and hors d'oeuvres, followed by dinner and a champagne toast.
The festivities will be entirely outdoors, we suggest bringing a sweater, or light jacket to throw on as the sun goes down. We will have heaters and blankets around to keep us toasty. The coast can be windy, bring layers for trips to the beach and pack a bathing suit for the heated salt water pool at Half Moon Bay Lodge!
Unfortunately, no pets are allowed at the Island Farm. Please keep your furry loved ones at home!
Check out the registry page to see our wishlist! Or if you’d rather, we are asking for contributions to our Newlywed Fund. In July of this year, we are moving to Fort Smith, Arkansas so Tana can attend the Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine and Eric can attend the University of Arkansas. We are so grateful for our loving and supportive friends and family, we couldn't do it without you!
No, unfortunately there is no cell reception at the venue. If you have Verizon, you may get some reception but it will be intermittent at best. Not to worry, there is a good ol’ landline in the main cabin on the property. You are free to make any phone calls you need. I will include all the necessary contact information in an email closer to the day of.
Okay I made this question up just so I could tell you guys about the San Gregorio General Store! Yes—it’s your last stop on the way to the wedding so if you need something be sure and grab it here! Also, it’s really cute.
To keep the party going, we are hosting an after party at the at the other end of the property. There will be a cash bar (dollar margs y’all), snacks, vinyl tunes, and dancing! Join us! The last shuttle off the island will take guests back to the Half Moon Bay Lodge and the Comfort Inn at 12:00am (ish😉)
Parking is very limited at the venue! Here are a couple scenarios which may apply to you: 1) If you are staying at the Half Moon Bay lodge, a shuttle is provided for you to and from the wedding. The shuttle will pick you up at 3:15pm and drop you off at the wedding at 3:30pm. The shuttle will return to your hotel on demand throughout the evening. The last shuttle back to your hotel will depart at 12:00am. 2) If you are staying at the Comfort Inn, a shuttle is provided for you to and from the wedding. The shuttle will pick you up at 3:15pm and drop you off at the wedding at 3:30pm. The shuttle will return to your hotel on demand throughout the evening. The last shuttle back to your hotel will depart at 12:00am. 3) If you are camping at the venue, whether in a ShelterCo tent or in your car, you may drive to the property and park in the field, but you must arrive at 2:00 pm.
4) If you are not staying at a blocked hotel, and you have to drive yourself to the wedding, you may park in the field but you have to arrive at the same as the campers, no later than 2:00 pm. 5) If you are not staying at a blocked hotel, and you want to take a cab, you can meet the shuttle at the Half Moon Bay Lodge and hop on the shuttle there. Try to time your arrival by 3:15 so you don't get left behind!
