FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than October 20th.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 3:30 pm as the ceremony will start promptly at 4 pm. There will be time for pictures immediately following the ceremony.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

This is a black tie event so get your fancy on! Most men will wear a tuxedo or dark suit and women will wear a long gown.

Question

Are you registered?

Answer

As we prepare to embark on our new journey together, your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. However, if you would like to contribute to our special day, we have created a honeymoon fund instead of registering for traditional gifts. Your donation will help make our honeymoon unforgettable and create memories that will last a lifetime. The link is on the Registry tab above.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If you had a significant other at the time the invitations were sent we included them on the guest list and you should see their name on the RSVP. If you have any problems RSVPing please reach out.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of parking on the property.

Question

Can I take an Uber or Lyft to the wedding?

Answer

It's very easy to get an Uber or Lyft to the venue, however, it is out in the country and difficult to get one after the event. Get a ride to the venue or drive and leave your car overnight! We will have two shuttle buses leaving from the venue at the end of the reception (10 pm). They will do a drop-off in Downtown Leesburg (near Hotel Burg where we are staying) and the Brambleton Community Center. You can keep the party going or get an Uber or Lyft from there easily. If you leave your car at the venue overnight you will need to pick it up by 11 am on Sunday.

Question

Directions to Riverside on the Potomac

Answer

Coming from Leesburg: DO NOT follow GPS down Spinks Ferry Road. Continue on 15 past Roots and Brossmans Farm Market. You will then pass Lucketts Elementary School when you arrive at the stoplight directly after the elementary school turn right. GPS will reroute you from there. You will pass the fire station and antique store on both sides. Continue on Lucketts Road until it turns into Lost Corner Road. Once you get to the end of Lost Corner Road (the road will make a T with the gravel road) you will make a left hand turn onto Spinks Ferry Rd. Coming from Maryland: Once you have taken the bridge over the Potomac continue on 15. You will pass a gas station on your right, and then one on your left. Quickly after passing the gas station on your left you will make a left hand turn off of 15 onto St. Clare Lane. Follow St. Clare Lane until it makes a T with Lost corner and Lucketts Rd. Turn left onto Lost Corner Road. Once you get to the end of Lost Corner Road (the road will make a T with the gravel road) you will make a left hand turn onto Spinks Ferry Rd. ALL GUESTS: Please plan travel time accordingly. Route 15 can get busy and cause delays. Follow Spinks Ferry Rd until the dead end. This is where the venue begins. Once you have arrived at the venue there will (most likely) be cones blocking off half of the drive way. DO NOT move the cones. Drive towards the opposite side, and someone associated with the venue will direct you where to park.

Question

Is there an after party?

Answer

We are staying in downtown Leesburg the night of the wedding and plan to go to SideBar after the reception. It's open until 2 am.
