Matt and I officially started dating on this date 18 years ago. Yes, I said 18 years. So, what better way to celebrate our anniversary than saying "I do". We have known each other for even longer than that. We went to High School together although did not know each other back then. When we first actually met, I was married and so was he. One of his best friends and one of my best friends started dating which led to us all being at gatherings together quite a bit. Then in 2002 our best friends got married and Matt and I were both in the wedding, still married to our then spouses. It just so happened that Matt and I were paired together to walk down the aisle. Years later we both were going through a divorce at the same time and became close until one thing led to another. Wow, who would have thought 24 years after walking down the aisle at our best friend’s wedding that we would be taking that walk again but this time for our own wedding.
