Let’s Celebrate!

Tammi's story: 2020 during Covid I was reassigned to the hospital campus to work. When I returned to work, only two of my co workers who were working in the office. One day I see this man who I’ve never seen before walk past my desk talking to my co worker, when he walked away I asked her “ who is that?” She said “Oh that’s Neil he comes by and sanitize our areas since Covid happened. I made a joke and laughed about Neil being the new kid on the block. The few times when he came over to our area I noticed that he would sanitize my co workers desk, but did not come to my desk. So one day before he left our area I stopped him and asked him ( in my joking and sarcastic voice) “so you not going to clean my desk?” He immediately smiled at me and apologized and said that he had no problem cleaning my area” and that was our first contact. Since then we were friends for 2 years talking while at work and just genuinely enjoying each other’s conversation. At that time Neil was in a long term relationship and I was dating, so we really didn’t see each no more than friends. One day one of our other co worker asked us if we wanted to hang out In Orlando, we all agreed to drive down and spend the night, me and Neil agreed to drive together . During the drive I think we both realized this was the first time that we really was alone and had a chance to really know each other, we found out the love for Michael Jackson was mutual and it was the music of choice for the road trip. Once we arrived in Orlando we decided to go on a helicopter ride. This was a first for me and Neil and during the flight is when I believe the connection begun. During a sharp turn our hands touched and we locked eyes and that’s where it begun. The rest of the trip was a lot of laughing, gazing in each others eyes and lots of smiling😊. Before the night was out we decided to go swimming, he wouldn’t get in the pool with me at first but as I started to swim he was watching me. I reached the other side of the pool and asked him to come in and join me, he shook his head no and motion for me to come back, I told him to come to me, so we decided to meet each other half way. Just as I got close he bent down and pulled me up from the water and kissed me, he said that he’s been waiting all day to kiss me. That was the beginning of a Love Connection that was designed by God. We still look at each other and Thank God for each other and how blessed we are that we found each other without looking. Neil's Story: To be honest when I first met Tammi there was a glow in her eyes that gave me an idea of what type of person she was. She has a beautiful spirit, she was very kind, and never treated me like I was beneath her. See we worked at the same place of employment she was educator and I was maintenance, I use come and clean her area where she work and take out her trash but she never looked down on me because of what my position was and that's was one of the reason why I valued her as a friend. Tammi always smiled at me and talked to me no matter what she was doing, she always had words to uplift me and encourage me as a friend, I found that I looked forward to seeing her when I came to work. One day Tammi asked me to hang out with her and her friends to go shoot some pool to free my mind and to have fun. It was a little bar where we all enjoyed ourselves. After that time we really started connecting talking more as friends. I asked her one day if she wanted to go out of town with me and my friends to Orlando, she was a little skeptical but she said she wanted to "slide" and during that trip we locked eyes and it was different. When we got to Orlando we were more comfortable with each other, we didn't know what was going on but we did see and feel something. Tammi's brown eyes always got my attention and after our first kiss I knew it was real. From that point on, I knew God had answered my prayers and sent me a Gift and I'm so Blessed!
