What is UnderCanvas?

What should I pack, how should I prepare?

Answer

This is a glamping outdoor wedding so the weather may be unpredictable. We suggest a raincoat, flashlight, umbrella, camp shoes/boots and maybe even some bug spray or sun screen. You are allowed to bring snacks and drinks, but they need to be left in your car overnight as to not attract animals. There is a small restaurant on site in case you get hungry, and Pigeon Forge is less than fifteen minutes away. Cloth wipes, dry shampoo, shower-shoes and other toiletries may be helpful if you are staying in a Safari tent. The other thing to note is that signal is very week/non existent on the campsite, so send your texts and emails prior to arrival. There is a small lantern next to each bed that allows you to charge your phone by USB. For the ladies, I suggest getting your hair prepped prior to arriving on the campsite - your blow dryers, straighteners and curlers will not work on site.

What are the tent options and do I get my own bathroom?

Answer

Can I bring my children? What about my fur children?

Answer

You sure can, this will be a family friendly event. Dogs are allowed for a small nightly fee.

What are the precautions you will be taking?

Answer

The ceremony will be outside and we highly encourage guests to get tested/vaccinated if possible before coming. We will have hand sanitizer stations and will be taking temperatures upon checkin to ensure the safety of our guests. Masks are encouraged inside, but most of the day will be outdoors. Where are you staying before the wedding?

Answer

We are staying at the Embassy Suites in downtownKnoxville, it is an hour drive to the campsite from here. Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are fifteen minutes away if you are looking for something closer.
