Well we started our journey about 5 year’s ago in a little town called Sulphur, La. We crossed paths on a new construction job venture we both were apart of. It definitely was an instant attraction between us to. Mr. Thomas didn’t waste anytime formally introducing himself and asking me out on a date. From that moment on we began to talk an text frequently. We would spend a lot of our off from work time getting to know each other. Through our conversations it would always seem so warming. It felt as if we had been knowing each other a life time. Even though we both were from different parts of the world. Mr. Thomas Woodville, Tx and Mrs. Johnson Gonzales, La. We both shared a lot of common interest and core value’s. We both had a passion for music, we enjoyed cooking, we loved fashion, we enjoyed traveling, and attending concerts. We liked the outdoors, and spending time with family. But most of all we both loved God. We have weathered many adjustments and phase’s from challenges we faced throughout the year’s. But one thing we have always resulted back too was. We no longer wanted to do this thing called life without one another. Liking each other was one thing. But we soon figured out, we had truly grown to love and adore one another beyond just a friendship. So here we are today, standing on the promises of God. Trusting him with every fiber of our being, that he will anoint and bless our union till death due us part.

Well our proposal story is not like the norm with dinner at our favorite restaurant or amongst our family and friends. We’ve always talked about marriage an planning a wedding one day, we even shopped for wedding rings but never wrote it out in stone. One thing Mr. Larry has always said was he didn’t want a regular style ring for his wife either. He wanted a different style that would speak volume. So he special ordered a ring thinking it would be in by my 43rd birthday. However it didn’t make it on time. Through that disappointment he insisted the day of my birthday Aug 22 that I go look at a building we could possibly host our wedding at. Me being me I’m like we are not even officially engaged yet. But he insisted I go so I went. I called him on the phone trying my best to describe the building because I liked it and he said let’s put the deposit to reserve it for Dec 31, 2022. I’m like oook just going with the flow. Two days later my door bell rings with a woman carrier standing outside saying she needs a signature for Larry Thomas. I never open his stuff unless he tells me too so I immediately called him because he didn’t tell me to be on the look out for anything. Mind you he had just left early Monday morning to head back to work. So he drove back 3 hrs to have me meet him with his package and mail. Me thinking he must need this for work. All along it was my ring and some diamond earrings to match. As I was looking in the car to make sure I had given him all his mail, he was opening up the package. I turned around and there he was scanning it to make sure it was his perfect pick. Me standing there surprised and emotional just staring at him. He puts it on and says now it’s official. You like it? Yep it’s official.
