Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends who are walking down the aisle with us.

Shanika Ingram

Matron of Honor

My A1 since day 1...literally. We started our journey of life together entering this world as an inseparable pair. We were womb-mates for almost 9 months. I first met Shanika 1 minute after I was born. She had the womb to herself for 60 glorious seconds and she thought she could finally sleep in but as fate would have it, the time had finally come for us to start our lives as twin sisters and lifetime best friends. Growing up with a twin is like having a sleepover with your best friend every night. I am forever grateful to have a sister like Shanika.

Chantal Gaines

Maid of Honor

My little sister 💕. My Goon. She is my protector and my own personal security. We have been a dynamic trio that is unmatched and unbothered. I can always count on my little sister to be 'down for the crown' with no questions asked. We speak in movie quotes and laughter has always bonded us together.

Neeshele Taylor

Maid of Honor

My Bestie "Wally." From being Kealing Hornets (Jr. High), to Reagan Raiders (High School), to Baylor Bears (College) we have still remained Besties. No matter how far we may be, we always come together like we've never missed a beat. Neeshele has been my rock during my wedding planning journey. She is always available to chat and discuss all things wedding and all my ideas. I am blessed to have a Bestie that I count on for anything.

Stephanie Jones

Bridesmaid

My Best Friend #2. Steph and I have been friends since elementary school. Steph is hilarious and always makes me laugh even when I am having a rough day. She has been my best friend and my hairstylist. Over the years our friendship has grown by leaps and bounds. We talk to each other almost every day and we never end our conversations without laughter. If I need to laugh or petty advice, I know who to call.

Kertricia McLennan

Bridesmaid

Kertricia was the first to befriend my sister and I when we first moved to East Austin and attended L.L. Campbell Elementary school. We were the new kids on the block and Kertricia was very nice and pleasant. Our friendship began over our love for Barbies and blossomed into a lifelong bond. We were so close and always together so much that people would always think that we were all sisters. In my mind, we were sisters. We have traveled all over the U.S., and we used to make up dances in our living room like we were a 90's girl group. All eyes were on us at the school dances. We made fond memories and I am so thankful to have her friendship.

Joe Perez Jr.

Best Man

The first born of the Dynamic Duo. My brother is my right-hand man and ride or die. We grew closer over the years when were adults even though we had a fun childhood. My brother was the cool one with the pager and calculator watch in his earlier days. I will always have his back and he will always have mine. Being six years apart, people nowadays think we are twins. I’m the joy and he is the pride of the family. He is the man that always has a plan. I am forever grateful to have my only brother like Joe.

Harrell Favis

Groomsman

He is the definition of a best friend. Harrell and I have known each other since our high school days. He has always kept it real and honest with me. I can rely on him whenever I need him. We share a passion for sports and old school music, even to the point of recording music together but those tracks are lost in time. Even though he has moved to another state and started a beautiful family we can always call each other and have a good laugh like back in the days. I am honored to have known Harrell over the years and call him my best friend.

Chad Jennings

Groomsman

Chad and I met through Harrell years ago. Over the years our friendship has grown, and I consider him another best friend. One personally cannot have too many best friends in life. He is another friend that I can rely on and if I need anything he is only a phone call away. I call Chad the collector because he collects everything from video games, comics, to Jordans. The most interesting thing we have in common is our birthday. We talk and send memes to each other almost every day.

John Mikeska

Groomsman

We met at work, and we became friends. We have known each other for over 15 years. We don’t need to talk everyday because once we hangout it's like old times. John is like another brother to me, he even shares the same birthday as my real brother. He is known to me as the “the man”. Whenever I needed to get away and just have a good time on the town, all I have to do is call him. We played flag football and basketball together. He is one of the most generous guys I know, and I can always count on him to take care of me.

Freddy Ingram

Groomsman

Freddy was introduced to me by my future sister-in-law. We call him Deac and from that day we have been brothers from another mother. We hangout most of the time because we are going to be family soon. When the ladies are together, and when we don’t want to participate in their activities, we hangout and plan our future endeavors. I tell you no one cooks better or more than this man. He has been teaching me the way of the “pit”. I cannot be happier to have Deac as future brother-in-law.
